Aswan & Abu Simbel Trips from Hurghada
This 14-day Egypt tour combines the Red Sea and the Nile in one private itinerary. You spend six nights in a 5-star all-inclusive hotel in Hurghada, with free days, a snorkeling trip and time on the beach, and seven nights on a 5-star deluxe Nile cruise, also all-inclusive. A private Egyptologist guides every sightseeing day, a private air-conditioned vehicle handles each transfer, and the trip begins with a meeting at Hurghada International Airport. Entrance fees to the sights on the programme are included.
The Nile section starts with a drive from Hurghada to Luxor, where you see Karnak Temple, board the ship and visit Luxor Temple at night. You then sail to Edfu for the Temple of Horus and on to Aswan for the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple. An early start takes you by road to Abu Simbel, and the ship later calls at Kom Ombo on the way back to Luxor. The last sightseeing day covers the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and the Colossi of Memnon.
After checking out in Luxor you are driven back to Hurghada for a night in the hotel, a free day and the airport transfer on departure day. Meals on the ship and in the hotel follow the day-by-day plan, and suggestions for changing the programme can be considered.
