Orange Bay Island Snorkeling Trip

Orange Bay is a small island in the protected Giftun group off Hurghada, known for its pale sand and calm, shallow, turquoise water. This Orange Bay island snorkeling trip gives you the beach and the coral reefs in a single six-hour outing. We collect you from your hotel in Hurghada, take you to the marina, and you step aboard a yacht with a sun deck. It leaves every day at about 08:00, so you spend the best part of the day out on the water.

Once the yacht reaches the Giftun islands you get one hour at Orange Bay to swim, walk along the shore or simply lie on the sand. The day also includes two stops over coral reefs, where you can float above colorful fish and coral. Snorkeling equipment is provided, life jackets and safety gear are on the boat, and the stops suit first-timers as well as confident snorkelers. Lunch is served on board, together with water, soft drinks, coffee and tea.

At the end of the day the yacht returns to the marina and you are driven back to your hotel. Underwater photos and videos, beach towels, sunscreen and personal spending are not covered, so bring what you need. Keep your passport or a copy with you, as it may be checked at the port, and pack beach shoes and a light cover-up.
